The opponent is stunned and cannot block while you can attack freely. This comes from Star Platinum inhaling Enyaba's Stand Justice from Part 3. This move is good for extending combos or against runners. G - Inhale: Star Platinum inhales the air so powerfully that it causes people near you to be drawn in front of the user. Note that the final kick is a true block break, meaning it cannot be blocked nor parried.) This can be perfect blocked at the first kick of the barrage.

Y - Ora Kicks: Star Platinum performs a fast flurry of kicks that deal low damage per hit, then Star Platinum does a stationary roll and opens up again to do a powerful kick knocking the enemy away. (24.2 damage max) This move is similar to Eye Gouge from Boxing, but it has more range and damage and slightly less stun. Which is good for starting combos but can get blocked. T - Star Finger: Star Platinum extends its finger and stabs the target in the eyes, stunning and blinding the target by making the victim's screen red and blurry. R - Stand Barrage Finisher: Star Platinum throws a heavy punch forward, dealing great damage and ragdolling the victim. (0.9, 1.5 at max Destructive Power per hit) 1.8 Hamon charged/Rage mode. An "ORAORAORAORAORA" audio can be heard when performing the barrage. LMB - Punch: This short move with a short cooldown deals 8.9 damage at max destructive power and can be combo'd 5 times, ultimately dealing 44.5 damage if all hit.Į - Barrage: Star Platinum performs an astoundingly fast flurry of punches that deals small damage per hit. You can tell if the Stand is Paragon Platinum or not by the yellow aura surrounding the Stand. It has a yellow aura around the user when in use if you see anyone else with this Stand, report it. This stand can only be used by two people, Paragon (The Boss in-game) and Speartaro. This stand is akin to having Hamon with Star Platinum, but double the strength. It is a stronger version of Star Platinum with the same moves as normal Star Platinum.

#Pokemon star platinum version mod#
There is a custom mod Stand of this stand named Paragon Platinum. However, Star Platinum has access to Star Finger and Inhale, two powerful stun tools which allow for easier damage output and better combos. It also has access to Ora Beatdown, which in a team fight can effectively force someone out of combat for a period of time due to it being a long cutscene where outside damage is negated. Star Platinum: The World has more overall damage and has better AoE attacks, which allows it to be used more easily within fights that are not 1 on 1 combat. Star Platinum can be upgraded to Star Platinum: The World. Gold Experience Requiem can also Return to Zero the Time Stop. Aside from some range it has via Star Finger, Star Platinum suffers from a lack of range which other Stands that have ranged options that can easily capitalize and out zone it. Against more than 2 teamers in game modes such as SBR, Star Platinum gets picked apart most of the time. One of which is that it only excels at 1 on 1 combat as all of its abilities are designed for one target. However, Star Platinum can work without the Spec due to Inhale allowing for combos.ĭespite these advantages, Star Platinum has some disadvantages.
#Pokemon star platinum version upgrade#
Usually it is paired with either Hamon or Boxing, Hamon increases the damage of the stand and is usually used if the user wants to upgrade it to Star Platinum: The World in the future, while Boxing is used for the combo capabilities. Due to the cost of Star Platinum's timestop and the nerf which made it last for only 4 seconds, the move is almost entirely useless against stands that can move within time stop, however if you wish to spend the extra skill points you can get off great damage from time stop. If you have the Hamon or Boxing specs, you can use a Zoom Punch or Eye Gouge at the end of the Time Stop, which will stun the opponent and allow for an additional post-time stop combo. Within stopped time, it is most efficient to just use LMBs to attack. Stands that can pause time such as The World or Stands that can move within paused time regardless, such as Tusk (Act 4) with Infinite Rotation. Only a handful of Stands can counter this. Within rage mode, Star Platinum can pause time for a maximum of 4 seconds. Rage Mode also increases the already good damage from Star Platinum. Star Finger can also blind and stun enemies which makes close range combat even easier. With access to inhale, a move that pulls targets near the user, Star Platinum excels at close range combat. Star Platinum has access to Time Skip and Stand Leap both are good for mobility or to close distance. Star Platinum is a prime example of a Stand that is really good at one role, being offensive.
